I wanted to share it with everyone who follows my blog. Why… because even for those of you who are not looking to buy a home in the near future, the housing market is an indicator of the overall growth or decline of the economy.

Though there are never any guarantees, lets all hope that the predictions in this article turn out to be true, so that the economy can return to a place of strength.

So I have been in my new home for a while now but haven’t really taken very many steps to make the home my own… well that’s until now! In an effort to increase my productivity while at home, I have begun to create a home office in the storage closet up stairs. I actually removed the closet shelves, patched the walls, painted the walls… and soon I will put up trim and change the light fixture. It’s really amazing to own a home where I can slowly make every aspect my own.

Before this project I was terrified of doing anything even painting because I figured that I was bound to mess up the house. But this project has given me great confidence and I think I can take on a lot more as I find more things that I want to change around my home.

I think the next thing I am going to take on is the back yard! Also I will put up a picture when the project is complete.
