After getting married my husband and I moved into a cute one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in Franklin, Tennessee. I remember thinking how spacious it felt as walked around in its empty rooms. The kitchen was off to the back, and much to my liking hidden from view just in case I didn’t want to do dishes. Upon first glance this was enough space for everything that we owned, I mean, do you really need more than 2 little pull out drawers?
Only after moving in did we realize that those drawers where not wide enough to hold our silverware…. let alone a holder to organize them. This might sound like a small problem, but when you have forks, knives, spoons, whisks, and all the other utensils shoved into one tiny drawer you really start to desire some organization! I mean when I am ready to eat, I am ready to eat, I don’t have that extra minute to dig for a fork, while simultaneously getting attacked by knives!
So this morning as I made breakfast for my “Starving” hubby, I took a moment to really appreciate my silverware holder and the drawers in my kitchen wide enough to hold it. No longer do I need to gingerly dig for items, in fear of spare edges. No Longer do I have to spend a moment away from my food dig for a fork! I have been made joyful by my wonderful silverware holder!
